Tickets on Sale February 9 at 10:00am

Grammy-winning artist Melissa Etheridge will take the stage "Live and Alone" April 2nd at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino - Resort - Spa in Rancho Mirage, California. The concert will be her only Southern California appearance!

The Melissa Etheridge Live and Alone appearance is a major coup for The Show at Agua Caliente Casino - Resort - Spa which will celebrate its Grand Opening February 12-14 with sold out performances by Billy Joel, matchbox twenty, and Martina McBride.

Chief Operating Officer David Fendrick says artists like Melissa Etheridge are what The Show is all about. "We are absolutely thrilled to have Ms. Etheridge perform at The Show. We've built a top-notch facility for performers of her caliber and everyone is eagerly looking forward to hosting this very special engagement."

Melissa Etheridge and her bluesy vocal stylings have garnered a wealth of awards and lofty recognition, not to mention a fiercely loyal fan base that spans the world. She first hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am in 1993. The collection featured the massive hits, "I'm the Only One" and "Come to My Window," a song that brought Etheridge her second Grammy(R) Award for Best Female Rock Performance. Since then, Etheridge has won a Songwriter of the Year honor at the ASCAP Pop Awards, the distinguished ASCAP Founders Award, an Academy(R) Award for "I Need to Wake Up," written for the Al Gore documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," among many others.

According to those who know her, Etheridge has shown herself to be an artist who has never allowed "inconvenient truths" to keep her down. Earlier in her recording career, Etheridge acknowledged her sexual orientation when it was considered less than prudent to do so. And just two and a half years ago, Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer, a health battle that, with her typical tenacity, she won. Despite losing her hair from chemotherapy, Etheridge appeared on the 2005 Grammy(R) telecast to sing "Piece of My Heart" in tribute to Janis Joplin. By doing so she gave hope to many women afflicted with the disease.

Energy BBDO awarded multi-year contract for $105 million

The Illinois Lottery announced today that it has awarded Energy BBDO its $105 million general market advertising contract.

Energy BBDO, along with Omnicom partners OMD and The Integer Group, will assist Lottery with strategic planning, media planning and buying, creative development and production, promotion, Web development and other marketing communication endeavors.

The Illinois Department of Revenue put out a request for proposals in September 2008 for the Lottery contract. A committee of eight people evaluated 13 written proposals and through a scoring process determined that six agencies would progress to the technical presentation. Three of those agencies proceeded on to the strategic and creative presentation phase. Energy BBDO was one of the three local agency finalists selected by Lottery representatives in December 2008. The two other competitors for the bid were Marc USA and JWT.

According to Sarah Cummins, marketing director for the Lottery, it was a tight competition between three highly-qualified finalists. "Each agency brought innovative ideas to the table, but we found Energy BBDO to be best-suited for the Lottery's needs. We made the decision based on the team's enthusiasm, excellent chemistry, strong leadership, and ability to reach out to Illinoisans in new and creative ways," she said. "We congratulate Energy BBDO and look forward to working with the agency on new and innovative approaches to promote the Lottery."

The awarded contract has an initial term of two years, with two one-year renewals possible.

CASINOS ANNOUNCE WINTER-SPRING ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP WITH NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK LEADING THE PACK

TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY AT NOON

As the mercury continues to drop, Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC) is proud to feature some of the hottest acts at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel (SNC) and Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel (SAC) that are sure to bring the heat this winter and spring.

That's right, the gang's all here -- Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny and Jon of New Kids On The Block (NKOTB)! Fresh off a European tour, the guys will be "Hanging Tough" at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel on March 28, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, 1/23 at noon and are priced at $60, $80 and $100. There is a four ticket limit per purchaser. The Kids, now five grown men, exploded into the music scene in 1986 and forever defined the look and sound of the modern boy band.

NKOTB released "The Block" in September 2008, their first album since disbanding in 1994. The guys performed 39 U.S. shows since they reunited in 2008 and will only perform 16 shows across the U.S. on their recently announced spring 2009 North American Tour.

Robert E. Victoria, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC), managing entity for the Seneca Nation's Class III gaming facilities and resort properties, announced the entertainment lineup today.

"Seneca Gaming Corporation is thrilled to bring New Kids On The Block to Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. Across the country, NKOTB is playing in 10,000+ seat arenas, while at the Seneca Niagara Events Center, we have a capacity of just over 2,000 seats, making it possible to bring our guests even closer to these music icons," he said.

Both resort properties boast virtually non-stop entertainment as the stages sizzle with today's up and coming performers and classic favorites who have made their mark in the music and entertainment industries for years.

The Seneca Experience entertainment line-up will kick-off this Friday at 8 p.m. as the legendary singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, STEVE WINWOOD, who has played for bands such as "The Spencer Davis Group," "Traffic" and "Blind Faith," takes the stage for the first time in the Seneca Niagara Events Center to avid fans and rave reviews. According to Victoria, Friday's concert is just the beginning of a diverse entertainment lineup performed by top-notch artists.

"We've continued the theme of variety from our past lineups to bring you a wide array of shows sure to appeal to a broad range of tastes and interests," he said. Victoria also noted that quantity as well as quality reign supreme, with events going on virtually every weekend.

Big Names in Entertainment Light Up the Stage

TONY GALLA, GARY MALLABER & JIM CALIRE, three of the original members of the circa 1960s band "Raven" will join forces with local Buffalo legend BOBBY MILITELLO, to rock the Bears Den Showroom with a bluesy-good sound on February 7. Tony Galla, Gary Mallaber and Jimmy Calire will reprise some of the Raven hits and bring back old memories for scores of Buffalo and Western New York fans.

THE BACON BROTHERS BAND is ready to rock the Bear's Den Showroom (SNC) on February 20. Sharing the stage is co-frontman and global film star Kevin Bacon on vocals and guitar, along with older brother Michael also on guitar, vocals and cello. The lifelong musicians have produced five albums since forming eleven years ago when they began their careers singing in Philadelphia coffee houses.

The lead vocalist and guitarist, of the "Staind," AARON LEWIS, a well known Grammy nominated songwriter whose distinct voice and well crafted lyrics have captivated many, will return to SNC for two solo, intimate shows on February 26 and 27 in the Bears Den Showroom.

GEORGE THOROGOOD AND THE DESTROYERS will bring the hits such as "Move it On Over" and "Who Do You Love" to the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) on March 8. This 'bad to the bone' performer, released his self-titled debut album, "George Thorogood and the Destroyers" with his band The Destroyers in 1976.

DAVID COOK catapulted to fame after winning the seventh and most recent season of the hit show American Idol. The singer, song-writer and guitarist released a self-titled album in November 2008 and one week prior to his victory on Idol (May '09) Cook broke several Billboard chart records, most notably having eleven songs on the Hot 100 in that week. See David Cook live on March 13 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC).

Stand-up comedian, radio personality and actor ARTIE LANGE is known most for his role on The Howard Stern Show and as an original member of the show MADtv. You'll be sure to laugh with Lange when he takes the stage March 14 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC).

Popular for her appearances on The Montel Williams Show, respected psychic medium, SYLVIA BROWNE will keep you mesmerized with her psychic readings March 27 at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC). Join her on the last leg of her final tour.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK make a stop on their Spring 2009 North American Tour in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) on March 28. Join Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny and Jon for one of only 16 U.S. shows this spring!

Five time Grammy-Award winning blues and rock guitarist and singer, BUDDY GUY, will perform at the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) on April 17. His showmanship and ability to play the guitar will wow you, just like it did for his successors Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Known for his five year role on Saturday Night Live in the mid-nineties comedian COLIN QUINN will keep you laughing with his performance on April 18 in the Bears Den Showroom at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS is a legendary American rock group who has sold over 22 million albums since the 1970's. They were inducted into "The Vocal Group Hall of Fame" in 2004 and will perform at the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) April 25.

Aaron Lewis is back -- this time as the front man with his band STAIND on May 1 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC). The band has recorded six studio albums over the last nine years, have had multiple chart topping singles and have sold over 15 million records worldwide.

THE MACHINE is back for two shows on May 9 in the Bear's Den Showroom. Known as America's premier Pink Floyd band, The Machine will return for another round of psychedelic performances you're sure not to forget.

On May 15, the Seneca Allegany Events Center (SAC) welcomes LOS LONELY BOYS, a Grammy-Award winning group of brothers out of San Angelo, Texas who blends elements of rock and roll, blues, soul, country and Tejano into their own sound dubbed as "Texan Rock 'n Roll."

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson of HEART bring their signature style to the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) on May 16 for one rockin' show! Formed in the early 1970s, Heart saw resurgence in popularity in the mid 1980s with their hard rock power ballads. To date, the sisters have sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

Also on May 16, CAROLINE RHEA, stand-up comedienne and actress, known for her work on Caroline's Comedy Hour and Comic Strip Live will bring her fresh and spontaneous approach to the Bear's Den Showroom.

Back by popular demand, Buffalo's own THE SCINTAS will return on May 23 to the Seneca Niagara Events Center. "Laugh Out Loud," the group's newest collaboration will include new sketches and music while still incorporating all the old favorites!

There's more excitement on the way this summer with big names such as:

BLUES TRAVELER on June 13 for a free, outdoor show at SNC, KENNY G on June 26 in the Seneca Niagara Events Center (SNC) and LORETTA LYNN on August 15 for a free, outdoor show at SAC.

The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), an organization comprised of lawmakers from states with casinos and other forms of state-regulated gaming, formally adopted a resolution Saturday encouraging states to take action to make all gaming worksites smokefree.

The resolution was adopted at the NCLGS 2009 Winter Meeting, held last weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona. The resolution, sponsored by Delaware state representative William Oberle, the current president of NCLGS, was passed by the NCLGS Committee on Casinos and approved by Executive Committee.

Cynthia Hallett, Executive Director of Americans for Nonsmokers Rights, said, "We applaud NCLGS for approving this landmark resolution. It should serve as a wake up call to lawmakers to stop delaying on smokefree protections for all workers. For a casino worker, every day breathing secondhand smoke in the workplace is one too many. Everyone has the right to breathe smokefree air - regardless of the color of their collar."

The NCLGS resolution encourages lawmakers to include casinos and other gaming venues in smokefree workplace laws. In addition, it recommends that smokefree air be included in state-tribal gaming compact agreements. This news comes as several states and tribes around the U.S. will be considering smokefree laws that include gaming facilities. A number of states, such as Illinois, Delaware, and Colorado, already have smokefree casinos, while others are expected to consider strengthening state smokefree laws to include gaming worksites.

Secondhand smoke is a proven cause of heart disease, cancer and respiratory illnesses, according to the 2006 US Surgeon General's Report, and approximately 50,000 die every year in the United States due to secondhand smoke exposure. This landmark report also reaffirmed that smoking sections, segregated smoking rooms and even sophisticated ventilation and air filtration systems are ineffective at eliminating health risks due to secondhand smoke.

Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights (www.no-smoke.org) is a national, member-based, not-for-profit organization based in Berkeley, CA that is dedicated to helping nonsmokers breathe smokefree air in enclosed public places and workplaces.

Browne is seen regularly on the Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live, and she makes countless other media and public appearances across the country and around the world.

Browne manifested her psychic ability at the age three, in her home town of Kansas City, Mo. For many years she shared her gift with friends and family, and became very well known for helping people to see their future. Since that time, she has helped thousands of people gain control of their lives, live more happily, understand the meaning of life, and to find God in their own unique way.

Browne's philosophy of life is based upon research into past lives, via hypnosis, and through the information obtained via Sylvia's deep trance channeling ability. From thousands of hypnotic regressions, and hundreds of trance sessions, the fact of reincarnation was established as the key to understanding life.

Browne accepts reincarnation as a central theme in her philosophy, yet this belief is never forced upon anyone who does not want to hear it. She always says, "Take with you what you want and leave the rest behind." She is also strongly pro-God, but again does not force the issue. She likes to tell people, "It does not matter if you believe in God, because God believes in you."

Amid square dancers and hundreds of onlookers, the Pennsylvania Lottery conducted its live, 7 p.m. drawing tonight at the 93rd Pennsylvania Farm Show.

This is the sixth consecutive year the Lottery conducted its live, televised drawing at the Farm Show.

Acting Secretary of Revenue Stephen H. Stelter served as guest drawing official to randomly select the winning numbers for The Daily Number, BIG 4, CASH 5, Quinto and Mix & Match.

Tonight's drawing was the 10,996th live, televised drawing conducted by the Pennsylvania Lottery. More than $26 billion in prizes has been paid to players since the first Daily Number was drawn in March 1977.

Three Lottery drawing officials, a certified public accountant, an accountant, two senior citizens to serve as witnesses, a camera crew and an announcer all participate in each evening's drawing. Each official evening draw is preceded by 12 test draws and followed by three post-draws, which are conducted to certify the performance of the drawing equipment and the randomness of the official winning numbers.

Visitors to the 93rd Farm Show can purchase Lottery tickets and learn more about the programs funded by the Pennsylvania Lottery at the Lottery's exhibition booth, located in the Main Hall, next to the Pennsylvania Marketplace and just inside the Maclay Street entrance on the west end of the building. The Lottery booth is open all hours and days of the Farm Show.

About the Pennsylvania Lottery: The Pennsylvania Lottery remains the only state lottery that designates all its proceeds to programs that benefit older residents. Since its inception 36 years ago, the Pennsylvania Lottery has contributed more than $18.3 billion to programs that include property tax and rent rebates; free and reduced-fare transit; the low-cost prescription drug programs PACE and PACENET; long-term care services; and the 52 Area Agencies on Aging, including more than 600 full- and part-time senior centers throughout the state. The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds its players to play responsibly. Players must be 18 or older.

CORPORATE WEBSITE REVISED TO INCLUDE GIG SYSTEM DATA

Interactive Systems Worldwide, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ISWI) had previously announced (in August 2008) that it had ceased filing its SEC financial reports for an indeterminate time period due to the Company's lack of financial resources and the anticipated expenses associated with the preparation, independent auditor review and filing of these reports. Today, the Company has announced quarterly transaction volumes (i.e. the "Turnover" and the "Hold"), associated with the wagering services provided by Global Interactive Gaming ("GIG"), the Company's wholly owned UK subsidiary, for the period ended December 31, 2008. Also provided are the historical transaction volumes associated with previous quarterly periods commencing with January 2007, which corresponds to the launch of the Company's "integrated" product into live operation (see table below).

The Company intends to provide this transaction volume on a quarterly basis in the future. The purpose of these disclosures is to provide the investment community with some ability to track the progress of the Company's operations despite the Company being delinquent in its SEC financial reporting. This data will also be available on GIG's website (www.gigltd.com), by clicking "Transaction History" on the Press and Contacts page. GIG's website can also be accessed indirectly from the Company's website (www.isw.com).

The Turnover, also called "Handle", is the sum of the amounts wagered under the GIG's service agreements with business partners for its "integrated" solution. Hold, also called "Gross Win", is the amount retained by the business partner after all winning wagers have been paid. All figures are unaudited. In the "integrated" solution, GIG's personnel use the SportXction software to manage certain in-run betting opportunities on behalf of the business partners, who then accept related wagers utilizing their own gaming system. The Turnover and Hold figures below are not directly indicative of GIG's revenue because the fees payable to GIG pursuant to the agreements with its business partners may include a combination of both a revenue share and a monthly minimum. The figures below do not include other sources of revenue for GIG or the Company, such as license fees, software charges, etc. Sports wagering is seasonal. Meaningful comparisons can only be made between comparable periods (year-to-year), not consecutive periods. In addition, some major sports events are not held annually, but are only held every 2 or 4 years.

The intrepid online poker room PokerTime pioneers a landmark twelve Rake Races starting in the month of January. This incredible split occurs after the Rake Race separated into three concurrent leaderboards at the onset of December 2008

With the kind of finesse that PokerTime [http://www.pokertime.eu ] has come to trademark, the massive USD 200,000 leaderboard that started off in September has, through the months of its successful progression, begun separating into more Rake Races. In January 2009, the Rake Races undergo a record twelve-way split, with each of the three tiers gaining a race per week, as opposed to just one race per tier per month.

The tiers are divided into Blue, Bronze/Silver and Gold/Platinum. Players new to the poker room fall under the banner of the Blue tier, and are automatically registered for this set of races once they register. The Blue tier pays out a USD 12,500 prize pool per week, for a total of USD 50,000 during the month. This prize pool is distributed across 200 places, and players can get into the swing of it easily enough, with the primary requirement for climbing up the leaderboard being as simple as playing as many raked hands as possible.

On the Bronze/Silver tier, the prize pool is similar to the Blue tier: USD 12,500 paid out per week, for a total prize amount of USD 50,000 over the course of the month. The difference between the Blue and the Bronze/Silver tiers is the amount of paid places -- 100 -- and the manner of climbing up the leaderboard. With this tier, Poker Points need to be earned. 2.5 Points are earned for every USD 1.00 paid in Multi-Table and Sit 'n Go tournaments.

The final tier is the Gold/Platinum one, which pays down to 50 places but conversely pays out a USD 25,000 prize pool per week, for a grand total of USD 100,000 over the month. The manner of leaderboard-ascension is the same as the Bronze/Silver tier: every USD 1.00 paid in Multi-Table or Sit 'n Go tournaments earns 2.5 Points.

The Rake Races are a unique feature to PokerTime, allowing associated players to enjoy Texas Hold'em and Omaha-style poker on the exclusive private green tables that are a hallmark of the PokerTime brand and software. Anyone interested in taking part in the Rake Races and earning incredible cash prizes on a weekly basis can check outhttp://www.pokertime.eu for more information.
